The Sedum Morganianum - Burro's Tail is a bountiful trailing plant with long stems that are densely covered in overlapping foliage. Burro's tail do well indoors in hanging baskets or cascading from a larger planter. Place Burro's tail somewhere with bright indirect light. They can tolerate heat well, although they prefer temps between 65 and 75 degrees. Though rare, Burro's tail produces red, pink or lavender colored small star shaped flowers in spring and summer.

Native to southern Mexico and Honduras, Burro's tail has been cultivated since 1935. This heat/drought tolerant plant thrives in warm to temperate regions when grown in an ideal environment outdoors. Their thick stems grow in a woven-like pattern in colors varying from bright green to gray-green or even blue-green at times with a slight chalky look. This unique, cascading succulent is easy to maintain and will be loved by beginner gardeners or frequent travelers.
