Amelanchier Grandiflora - Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry is a small deciduous native shrub that can also be grown as a multi-stemmed shrub. Produces small white fragrant flower clusters that attract pollinators during the spring. During the summer months, small dark red-purple edible berries emerge which are enjoyed by all. These sweet berries taste like a combination of apples and blueberries and can either be consumed fresh, made into jams or baked into desserts. In autumn the oval green leaves become a bright copper-red and orange, giving light to its name Autumn Brilliance.Â
