Hydrangea petiolaris - Climbing Hydrangea received the NCNAL 2011 Showstopper plant award! Climbing hydrangea is an elegant vine with glossy green leaves with beautiful white blooms that appear early summer.

Added interest to walls, trees, and chimneys. Hydrangea's make a statement as a shrub or as a climber. Hydrangeas are among the showiest of summer plants. Not only are they beautiful outside, but you can cut the flowers and place them in floral arrangements.

Full sun to partial sun.

Attracts birds, bees and butterflies.

Drought tolerant once established.

White flowers, non-fragrant
