This is an everbearing Raspberry that can’t be beat. Two harvests for you – one is summer and a then a bigger harvest from early fall until first frost. Self-fertile and dark red – these plants are a must have for your garden - they spread fast and usually produce first year. Self-supporting canes will grow 5-6’ tall and are hardy zones 4-8. These do best in full sun. Raspberries like full sun and good air circulation. They do best in enriched garden soil that is moisture retentive but well-drained. Plant about 3 feet apart in the row or train up a trellis. Water well during growth and consider mulching to conserve water until the following spring, when the mulch should be removed to let the plants warm up. In winter, cut back to about 5 canes per crown.
