Being native to China, this deciduous shrub is hardy, heat-loving and a semi-dwarf variety, taking up less space in your garden. This shrub is a multi-stemmed, dense growing deciduous shrub decorated with dark green foliage that turn a golden yellow orange in the fall. Clusters of showy, abundant, deep pink flowers edged in white bloom from early July to September lasting sometimes anywhere from 3 to 4 months every blooming period. Easy to grow. Pruning any spent flowers will prolong their flowering periods as well.
