Water & Soil: During hot dry spells, your tomatoes may require more frequent watering. Mulch under your tomatoes with black or red plastic, to warm the soil, create a weed barrier and hold in moisture.

Care & Harvest: Prune the suckers from your "Sunny Boy" tomato plants by grasping the sucker – a branch that appears between the main stem and a leaf – with your hands when it is 3 to 4 inches long and snapping it from the plant.

Striking, bright yellow, beefsteak type fruits weigh approx. 10 to 12 oz. each and can sometimes even weigh up to 16 oz! Fruits are globe shaped, firm, meaty and have less seeds than comparable red varieties. Very sweet and flavorful with a hint of acid, this plump slicer is perfect in salads, on sandwiches and will really shine on vegetable trays. Plants set well and are widely adaptable
