Apple Tree 'Yellow Delicious'

What's the difference between Yellow Delicious and Golden Delicious?
Though these are two different names, they belong to the same type of apple. The main difference being that the Golden Del., a former Yellow Del. strain, was bought and renamed by Paul Stark. This apple went on to create different strains and "sports" of its own over the years, in an attempt to develop a more attractive skin on the sweet, crisp apple. The Yellow Del. might not have as clear/attractive skin or deepness in color, but they have been know to have a better flavor while still keeping their best qualities.
