Characteristics: Grows into a multi-stemmed shrub or small tree. Springtime brings an abundance of fragrant white blooms, followed by sweet, dark purple-black berries in summer that attract birds and pollinators. Fall foliage is a dazzling mix of orange, red, and yellow.

Growth Rate: Moderate

Soil, Water, Fertilize: Prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil but tolerates a variety of soil types. Fertilize post-bloom twice a year. Light pruning for shape and size is recommended.
