Vitis labrusca - Concord will produce plump sweet, juicy grapes. The fruit is medium size, purple grape with a very distinctive flavor. This grape is very good table grape, excellent for jams, jellies and for homemaking wine. The second year after planting they will produce fruit. This purplish red grape ripens mid to late September. Not only are they a rich source of vitamins A, C, B6 and folate, they contain essential minerals like potassium, calcium, and iron.

Size: Can reach a mature height of 5 - 7'ft tall and 8 - 10'ft wide spread.

Characteristics: Original variety with seeds. Very hardy, vigorous, disease resistant, and heat tolerant. Is a self-pollinating plant and will produce white blooms in May. Fruit ripens in late September to October.

Soil & Water: Grapes will grow in a wide range of soils, but do best in a deep, well drains sandy loam with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5.

*Plants cannot be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii.

*Plants ship dormant in winter months.

Should plant 8-10’ apart in well-drained loamy soil.

Plant your grapevines in your own backyard in full sun. Arbors or trellises on the south side of buildings can also provide good sites for grapes.

2/3 survived and customer service was abysmal

I received these late due to a shipping delay and they arrived in real rough shape. I immediately contacted customer service and they were adamant they were fine despite our back and forths. I eventually gave up on trying to prove these were in bad shape. It took almost two months for new growth to appear on 2 of them as the leaves were mostly crunchy. They shed all their foliage shortly after arriving. 4 months later, 2 of them have grown a few leaves and the 3rd is a dead stick in the ground. This was my first and last time buying from this company. I received a badly damaged product and customer service wanted to argue about it. Lost out on a whole grow season waiting for these to rebound instead of receiving healthy replacements.

I have bought a few items that were in a dominant state before, but this is the first one that actually lived. Great plant thanks Planted it in a pot in the house first and it started showing leaves in about 10 days. Five weeks later i planted it in the grown. Growing great.
