Characteristics: The fruit is medium to large in size and has a golden yellow color with a red blush. The flesh is juicy, sweet, and aromatic, with a slight tartness. Goldcot apricots have moderate resistance to several common apricot diseases, including bacterial canker and brown rot.

Water & Soil: Goldcot apricots prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. The soil pH should be between 6.0 and 7.0 for optimal growth. If your soil is heavy and poorly drained, consider adding organic matter such as compost or well-rotted manure to improve drainage.
Water regularly, especially during the growing season. It is important to ensure that the soil is moist but not waterlogged.

Goldcot apricots typically require around 700-800 chill hours to properly break dormancy and produce fruit. Chill hours are the number of hours in which the temperature is between 32 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential for the tree to receive enough chill hours to produce a healthy crop. Lack of adequate chill hours may result in poor fruit set, delayed harvest, or reduced fruit quality.

Sorely disappointed with what I paid $100 for 2 trees that were dead upon arrival. When called them about it, their response was "Yeah, too bad". Picture enclosed.
