Characteristics: Sequoia strawberries are known for their large size, deep red color, and excellent flavor. They are an everbearing variety, producing fruit throughout the growing season. These strawberries are particularly juicy and sweet, making them great for fresh eating, desserts, and jams. They typically have a longer fruiting season compared to many other strawberry varieties, often extending from late spring through fall

Soil & Water: Well drained soil is a must; as plants are susceptible to root rot. Sandy soil is best. Add extra organic matter. You will need supplemental watering when rainfall is not sufficient. Plant as soon as the soil is dry and able to be worked - March or April for most areas.

*We cannot send plants to Alaska or Hawaii.

Full sun is preferred for all varieties of strawberries, but a minimum of 6 hours is required. Most varieties will produce in a matted row, but keeping runners trimmed will increase your yield. You will need supplemental watering when rainfall is not sufficient.
