The Buxus Sinica Titan Boxwood, also called Korean Boxwood, is one of the tougher evergreen shrubs out there. Being one of the few boxwoods to not suffer from bronzing in extreme temperatures like most others. This "dwarf" considered shrub is able to keep its lush green foliage throughout all seasons. The glossy green, broad, small leaves grow densely in a multi-stemmed, rounded form. Blooms small insignificant creamy-green flowers in late spring that attract pollinators.

Full sun to partial sun.

Drought tolerant once established.

Size: Mature size can reach 4' - 6' x 3' - 5'

Light: Full to partial sun

Hardiness zone: 4 - 9

Characteristics: Grows in a dense, compact, rounded shape. Can be pruned all year round but avoid pruning in late fall. Provide about an inch of insulation for change in temperatures and moisture control. Low maintenance, except pruning which is optional. Protect from intense sun and harsh winds in winter.

Growth Rate: Slow

Soil, Water, Fertilize: Moist, loamy, cool, rich, well draining pH 6.5 -7. Tolerant to cold and drought once established. Deer, rabbit and disease resistant. Though unnecessary, fertilize in the second growth year in early spring with a slow release fertilizer.
