Scarfs quince

Packaged very well but for $60 I was expecting a bigger plant. Planted the same day I received it and two weeks later It is doing very well. Getting new shoots on the stems. Just disappointed in the size of the plant.

Although we haven't planted this yet, I was excited to find that this flowering quince was about 3ft tall! It was a gift for my daughter and she is very thankful and excited. I believe that this matched my expectations.

Flowering Quince 'Scarff's Red'

Flowering Quince are a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub, although growing somewhat unruly, the beautiful and delicate flowers make a strong contrast against the shiny, dark green foliage. Related closely to roses, most flowering quince's have a thorny habit, except for the Cameo and Dragon's Blood. The flowers last for about 2 weeks and are then followed by fragrant, yellowish-green fruits.
