Refunds & Cancellations
We do not accept returns.
All purchases, once shipped, may not be cancelled.
Our plants are harvested per order; because of that, we cannot accept returns or cancellations once an item has shipped.
TriStar Plants ships only healthy, high-quality plants. Please remember that plants are not perfect—small leaf or stem imperfections are normal and do not affect plant health. Leaves with imperfections or broken tips may be carefully trimmed with scissors.
On rare occasions, delivery issues occur with the carrier. If you’re not completely satisfied or feel your plant has a problem, please contact us—we’ll do our best to help and make it right.
If your plant has an issue that you are unhappy with, please contact us ASAP. We are only able to resolve issues brought to our attention within 10 days of delivery.
Occasionally we will ask for additional information or photos to aid in resolving your concern. Please respond within 48 hours so we can quickly assist.
If we deem the plant has an issue (damaged, pests, or disease) or was lost during shipment, we’ll issue a refund or replace your plant free of charge at our discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds or replacements for any plant. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for claims opened more than 10 days after delivery. Failure to provide requested information or photos necessary to process your claim in a timely manner may result in denial. All decisions regarding refunds and replacements are final and made at our sole discretion.
Shipping Dormant Plants
TriStar Plants ships during winter months. If you order between November and April, there is a high chance your plant will be dormant. Leaf-bearing trees and plants naturally drop leaves and small branches during cold months—this is normal and essential for plant health.
If you are uncertain about health during dormancy, perform a scratch test: gently scratch a small area of bark with a coin or fingernail. Green under the surface indicates a living plant conserving energy. Brown/black typically indicates dead tissue.
Cancellations & Returns
We do not accept returns, and once a purchase has shipped and is with the carrier, it cannot be cancelled.
If your plant has an issue on arrival, please contact us within 10 days. We may request photos or additional information to help resolve the problem.

We guarantee that your plants and trees will arrive healthy. We inspect at all stages of growth and packing to ensure you receive the highest quality plants. All plants are free of:
· PEST
· DISEASE
· DAMAGE TO MAIN STEM
If you’re not satisfied within the first 7 days of receiving your trees and plants, email us so we can make it right. Plants require proper care to acclimate to new environments. Neglected care, sub-par care, or purchasing plants outside of your recommended growing zone is not covered by our guarantee.
If you have issues within the first 30 days, contact us. We will review your concerns and provide a one-time replacement if necessary. Shipping costs are not included in the one-time replacement offer.
For deciduous dormant trees ordered during winter or early spring: if a tree fails to emerge from dormancy by May 30, we will guarantee it outside the five-day notification period. Contact us by May 30 so we can review and assist with your order. We may request photos to help us assist you.
