Size: Strawberries have shallow root systems. Most plants will be approximately 8 inches tall at maturity.

Light: Full Sun (6+ hours of direct sunlight)

Hardiness: 2 - 9

Characteristics: Exceptionally large firm fruit that holds its size for entire season. and works well for fresh eating and canning. Resistant to soil fungi. Grows well all over USA.

Water & Soil: Well drained soil is a must; as plants are susceptible to root rot. Sandy soil is best. Add extra organic matter. You will need supplemental watering when rainfall is not sufficient. Plant as soon as the soil is dry and able to be worked - March or April for most areas.

Full sun is preferred for all varieties of strawberries, but a minimum of 6 hours is required.
Most varieties will produce in a matted row, but keeping runners trimmed will increase your yield.
