Known mainly for its snap, the McIntosh has aromatic, tender white flesh with thick red and green colored skin and a prefect balance between sweet and tart flavor. With heavy crop yields, low chill requirements, and highly adaptable to a wide range of climates and soils this cold hardy, early fruiting apple tree must surely make it to the top of your list. Blossoms are white and delicate appearing in early spring with the fruit ripening in September to October.
