Their snow-white flesh is softer than usual and is known to be very juicy, with both sweet and tart hints in flavor, and are slow to oxidize, making them perfect for salads, charcuterie, pies, and cider. During the springtime, this tree blooms small white to pink flowers.
This tree is self-fertile but improves harvest when planted with other varieties to be cross-pollinated. Some options would be Fuji, Pink Lady, Gala, Granny Smith, Honey crisp, Jonathan, and Golden Delicious to name a few. Fruit begins to ripen and is ready to harvest in mid-September through October.
