The Malus AngustifoliaĀ - Southern Crabapple is a small species of crabapple native to the eastern and southern -central regions of the United States. Beautiful clusters of fragrant small pinkĀ blossomsĀ adorn the slim, bare branches in the spring followed by lush green, oblong,Ā serrated leaves. In autumn, small yellow-greenĀ fruit on long stalksĀ drop, with size ranging from Ā¾-1ā€ in diameter and a slightly sour taste ripening for pickingĀ inĀ September.Ā 

Full sun to partial sun.

Attracts birds, bees and butterflies.

Native to North America

White/ Pink flowers, non-fragrant

Characteristics: Produces edible fruit for song birds, birds, deer, and other small animals. Produces pink to white blossoms that attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Self-Fertile. Produces fruit in 3-4 years.

Soil, Water, Fertilize: Moist, loamy, slightly acidic, well-draining soil with the pH 6.0 - 8.0. Prune in late winter to promote growth and shape the tree. Fertilize in early spring.

ļæ¼ the tree came it was wrapped perfectly. Itā€™s approximately 3 feet tall. We planted it in the front yard and it is doing great. ļæ¼
