The Acer × freemanii 'Autumn Blaze' Maple is one of the most widely planted and celebrated hybrid maples in the country. Known for its brilliant red-orange fall color, this fast-growing tree combines the strength and adaptability of the silver maple with the vibrant color of the red maple. Characteristics: Green leaves become a coveted brilliant orangey-red in the fall. Grows in an oval shape with ascending, densely growing branches.

Hardiness zone: 3 - 8

Growth rate: Fast

Soil, Water, Fertilize: Moist, well draining soil. Keep moist but not soggy. Prefers slightly acidic soil. Fertilize once before planting if needed.
