The 'Regal Splendor' Hosta, a sport of H. 'Krossa Regal', received the 2003 American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year. This hosta forms a stunning vase-shaped, upright mound of foliage. Long, pointed, frosty blue/green leaves have narrow, creamy yellow to ivory margins. Lavender, bell-shaped flowers appear on 5-to-6-foot scapes in mid to late summer. Large mounds of Hosta are not only beautiful as borders and in gardens, but also great to use in floral arrangements as filler and return year after year.

A mature ‘Regal Splendor’ can grow up to 3 feet in height and width. When planting, space the plants 36 - 48" apart in moist, well-drained soil. ‘Regal Splendor’ thrives in conditions of partial shade to full shade.
