Size: Strawberries have shallow root systems. Most plants will be approximately 8 inches tall at maturity.

Light: Full Sun ( 6+ hours of direct sunlight)

Hardiness: 2 - 9

Characteristics: One of the most popular varieties. Sweet, wedge-shaped fruit throughout summer and fall. Excellent for fresh eating and dessert. Works well all over the USA and Canada.

Water & Soil: Well drained soil is a must; as plants are susceptible to root rot. Sandy soil is best. Add extra organic matter. You will need supplemental watering when rainfall is not sufficient. Plant as soon as the soil is dry and able to be worked - March or April for most areas.
