Dunce Cap

This succulents name derives from its spires of silvery-lavender cone-shaped rosettes that emerge from their center. Their cones eventually have the possibility of flower under the right conditions. These plants are considered monocarpic meaning they live in a perpetual life and death cycle. Once the rosette blooms they will die off, luckily the plant produces numerous offsets which can be propagated into other plants and continue the cycle.
