Cercis Canadensis - Eastern Redbud also called American Redbud, is a deciduous shade tree known for the profusion of rosy pink flowers in mid spring as early as 4 years of age. As summer approaches, reddish heart like leaves emerge later maturing into dark green and finally yellow in the fall before dropping in the winter. Produces brownish-black pods about 2" in length that remain on the tree throughout the winter.

Full sun to partial sun.

Attracts birds, bees and butterflies.
