Calycanthus Floridus - Eastern Sweetshrub, Carolina Allspice and Sweet shrub. Eastern Sweetshrub can grow to be 6-12ft in size with glossy, aromatic, dark green foliage. Flowers are dark red, solitary, with strap like petals and fragrant. The flowers are long lasting on the shrub and make for good cut flowers or dried and added to potpourri. Native to the eastern United States.
