Maple Tree 'October Glory Red'

Its scarlet red foliage begins in early October, hence the name, and persists for weeks, among others who have already shed their leaves. Their striking foliage is accompanied by clusters of shiny red fruit as opposed to the typical maple brown, and are adored by numerous kinds of bird species. But prior to all that there is a small glimpse of its fiery glory in spring as its softly-colored gray bark bursts with color of tiny vivid red flowers.
